I have had nothing but problems

I am so disappointed in this vehicle. I live in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut on an island, Ford is telling me to send my bronco sport to a dealership to have the recall issues fixed...I live on an island, it cost me 20 thousand dollars to have this hunk of junk flown up here and now they will not let the mechanics here fix their mistake,(the mechanics here have worked on recall issues in the past)they want me to pay to send it to a Ford dealership to fix the issues. Also my right front axel fell off, that should have been covered under warranty but no one could tell me how to get that covered so I ended up paying 1060.00 outof my own pocket...I'm having buyers remorse, it was stupid of me to buy brand new. This has been a nightmare for me. This is the first vehicle I've ever purchased. I'm so angry and frustrated...wtf is the bottom and things made with fabric, I had a ton of ice build up in my wheel wells, it was rubbing up against the tires. I have to replace the tires now, ughhhhhh...I wish I never bought this vehicle...

After they said it would be 20k just to ship it to the island it would be a hard pass for me. I can't see the value or the sense of the purchase of paying over 60k for a BS ?‍

This is kind of your fault.

Why would you buy a BS in your situation? It makes no sense, at least financially.

Also, how does an axle just fall off? I’m pretty sure no one else has had major mechanical components just fall off.

Don't know what to say, you're in a whole different league. But I went down a crazy rabbit hole involving the Northwest Passage, international waters, and NORAD radar sites researching just where the heck Cambridge Bay is located and what goes on up there lol

@Nunavut bronco owner in all seriousness you may have a legal precedent to make them pay for the shipping both ways... At least in the US, all vehicles sold need to have all recalls taken care of before they leave the lot. Problem is, both recalls aren't for all vehicles and they need to be inspected just to see if they need to order you parts. The worst part for you is that you would have to take it back while they wait for parts if you do need the recall. I've been waiting 6 weeks for a little plug to fix an issue.

Are there purpose built vehicles for such an environment?

People have the ford escape here and don't have problems with it. I should have bought that instead. Just didn't want to be the same as everyone else. I thought the bronco would be good here. ?

Ys its rough buying a new car. Especoally recalls.. the escape has been around and proven.. thats the reason i b9ught bronco also, to have something different.. i willnever buy a first model year again.. 8 cancelled my maverick order. Ford needs to get it together. They keep increasing price but taking items away like tailgate assist, engine cover, dash panel. At least mazda gives you a credit. They are out of bose speakees so they give a 440 dollar credit. Wish ford did that
