2023 Bronco Sport Big Bend. I bought a set of Maverick steelies 17 inch and painted them white. They included the center caps also painted
white. I mistakenly thought the center caps from the Big Bend would work on the steelies. They were to small. I have the center cap cover from
the Maverick steelies. Unfortunately, the Sport lug nuts are too thin. So do I need new lug nuts to hold on the bolt and center cover, or are there caps that will fit?

This is what I did. Painted the wheels and caps. Cut some automotive hose to put into the cap. It took a half slice and a full piece of tube to get it really snug. I can take it off or put it on with ease. Hasn't budged with three months of daily driving.

I would add it's a good idea to replace the 2 piece lugs nuts with 1 piece lug nuts while dealing with them anyway. Save yourself some headaches down the road.
