We bought our 2022 BS Badlands on November 1. The local FORD dealer had it on their lot. The vehicle had less than 9,000 miles and I was shown the CARFAX and it was clear. I don't remeber if there was information on open recalls.

What is the best way to check for open recalls?

I'm not sure what happened to this thread. There were three responses to my original post. I responded and now there are only my original post and one other.

Anyone know what haqppened to the other posts?

Yep, you are correct. Like my Dad always told me,"You got to be smarter than what you are working on."

NHTSA.Gov or Ford website click on Support and Service and recalls from the drop down menu. Also your ford pass should tell you about any open recalls for your vehicle. If you want to see all recalls by model and year the NHTSA site will show all recalls for the model you are searching. NHTSA will include all recalls if you do not search by VIN. With Ford you need to search by VIN.

Just install Fordpass app.

I have the Ford Pass app on my phone. I downloaded it to my phone when we got home from the dealership.
So far I haven’t found the area that shows if there are any recalls.

If you have an open recall it would show in the Fordpass app. Not exactly to sure where but I remember it was easy to find. If you want to see all the recalls for your 2022 Bronco Sport you can see them on the NHTSA site. There is a total of 8 recalls. Not every one will apply to your vehicle. Here is a link to the NHTSA site for 2022 Bronco Sport recalls.

Also since you bought the vehicle with 9000 miles on it. If you go back to your Ford dealer service department you should be able to have them print out the service history of what was done. If you look on the FordPass app under service you should be able to see a list of service dates but mine has no specifics about what was done. The dealer would be able to print the invoices.

Open Fordpass, click service, click alerts.

In the app, open "service", then open alert history.

I went into the Alert History on the Ford Pass. It shows, "You have No Records at This Time"

That would be correct assuming you have no open (unresolved) recalls that are currently applicable to your vehicle as stated above in Post #9 “If you have an open recall it would show in the Fordpass app.”
