I have a bronco sport with out the factory navigation and was wondering if was possible to add it on later? Also wondering too if a ford dealer would install it for me.

I'd assume you'd need a complete head unit replacement but that could be terribly wrong. Honestly, your smartphone, USB connector and download Waze app. Better than nav. That's my two cents (I have an Android and have had compatibility issues with android auto, but my wife's iPhone works fine.)

If you really want to add NAV, it's doable. It about a $1000 cost for the NAV module. Not counting installation. Google 4dtech. They sell the part. Like others have said. I'd take a smart phone and Apple/google maps or Waze since it gets updated constantly. Plus it can include traffic.

To answer your both of your questions, yes it's possible.
What you need is a SYNC 3 APIM Module. They run $300-400 on ebay for a Ford OEM part. Vender will need your vin to pre-program into the APIM.
That said, this is a pretty big job, watch the attached video. A decent auto stero shop could do it for a few hundred labor. You might get a better deal if you bought the APIM directly from them

Agreed, for the cost of adding Ford navigation you could easily upgrade to an android or iPhone that supports maps or Waze if you don’t have one already (and get other benefits that come with a new phone). Don’t like having to plug it in - there’s a thread on here about how to connect via Bluetooth via an adapter. Also, from another recent thread, the cost of upgrading your maps through Ford seems over the top when all apps update for free. And traffic (along with road hazards and speed traps) is vital (iMaps does traffic too, but I find Waze to be more accurate).
