Help me figure out what this is.

A friend found this in a box and gave it power but it did not come alive to give her an indication of just what it is. I have no clue myself.
Anyone know?

Nope, no labels except for a "Quality Passed" sticker inside its battery compartment. No raised lettering on the bottom plastic either. Weird that something would have no notation of PN or SN or the like.

Oh wild that is odd. I mean the most I got out of searching google image search was similar pictures of red phones & red Bluetooth speakers. There was a couple odd other scopes & such, but they don’t look like this. The black part, that isn’t a screen is it?

It uses an old school 6v input so I think it is pre-Bluetooth and pre-USB. But no other slot for cartridges? Weird.
