Sigh .. that’s 22251! You said in Post #10 that you were “up to date and current. Software Version: 3.4 Build 23188 PRODUCT”

You need to do the 23188 update per the instructions I posted earlier.

I never trust anyone saying their vehicle is updated unless they post a pic. Hehe ?

So of course the screen won’t stay in dark mode. 22251 has a bunch of issues like that.

Wifi is not the way to update tried 3 different times and it is a no go. So back to the computer and do this with USB.

What is interesting to me is that our 2022 Big Bend has never had a screen update issue.
Our 2023 Badlands after 6 months "needs" an update.
I'm assuming I can use the same USB update for both.

Yes I believe Sync for Bronco Sports ‘probably’ can be used across different models if you already have SYNC 3.4 23188 on a USB Device and as long as the vehicle match in terms of non-Nav equipped. I don’t know it works if both vehicles are Nav equipped.

These are the recent Sync updates (dates are approximate) but you want to be on 23188 or later version. Version 22251 is broken and needs to upgraded (likely you are on 22251 if you are experiencing issues). 22251 only gets worse the longer it’s kept on the vehicle.

SYNC 3.4 23188 (09/05/2023)
SYNC 3.4 22251 (01/23/2023)
SYNC 3.4 22200 (10/27/2022)
SYNC 3.4 21194 (OE: Jan 2022)

These are the recent nav upadtes

The same USB should work on both vehicles provided both vehicles are either "Nav" or "No Nav". I base this on when I was providing other members with the file that I had. My BB is "non-Nav" and someone that used my file that had Nav had issues with the update. Cheers!
