This is going to sound weird but there's something that I've noticed occurs in both our Bronco Sport and Maverick. When driving on the highway, when you have your air conditioning set to a specific setting, does anyone ever get blasted by cold air all of a sudden for a little bit until it goes away? It's the weirdest thing. I'll barely have the A/C on and then all of a sudden, there's a blast of air coming through the vents as if I adjusted the fan speed. But then it goes away after a minute or two. I don't know if it's because of the tense air blasting through the engine into the cabin because of highway speeds or what? I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this or even noticed it happening.

That's a new one on me. We have both a '21 Bronco Sport and a '20 Escape; never experienced this.

Happens all the time to me. No rhyme or reason. All of a sudden it’s like the fan is turned to high. I know the car regulates itself especially when using recycled air, but the light for the recycle feature doesn’t turn off when it happens so I’m not sure if it’s just bringing in fresh air for a short burst or it’s just some weird occurrence.

Yes my 23 obx and 21 ranger did this, I dont think anything is wrong its just how these computer regulated cars do some strange things at times

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Bronco concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Mine does it once in a while, mostly when shifting from heat to cold like we're doing here the last month or so.

I have the climate set to auto, though, so I'm not surprised it happens.
