Yeah, if you would have gone to the dealer for those services anyway, then that's a good way to use the points.

I was hoping to get something like maybe a nudge/brush bar -- but if we do that I'd want something strong and functional -- not just decorative.

That's just one idea.

Out of curiosity, how did you accumulate so many points?

We upgraded through trades. Right now dealers pay more for the trade in then we bought them for. 2 years ago we were making payments on an Escape and today this is paid for.
