Just thought I would post this incase some are not aware that you can get a refund on the unused portion of the Ford ESP warranty.
I just traded in my 2019 Edge for a new Escape. I had 2 years left on the Ford ESP and just received a $400 refund for the remainder of the contract that will not be used. This is after using the ESP for approximately $5,000 in recent repairs. At the time I purchased the contract the original price was over $1,800 so I think that was a fair refund. You must go back to the dealer that sold you the ESP for the refund.
So for anyone thinking about getting an extended warranty I have been happy with the Ford warranty, especially since you can get a refund if you cancel the contract before it ends.
