According to Ford, all trims of the '26 BS have the BYOD ports in the tray as Standard Equipment.

Stupid question, but are you sure you're looking in the right spot?

Yes, checked and there is no usb in the tray. Im tempted to remove the screws and check if there is a connection I can use to make a usb-compatible connection

Very weird. I even checked Ford Canada’s site to see if there was a difference, but it’s identical to the US spec. I’m sure Ford never makes mistakes like that on the website (*cough* folding mirrors *cough*).

I may visit my local dealer and see if I can find any there without the BYOD ports.

Out of curiosity, what would you put in there. Where I am the sun can get that area pretty hot. I have not used the regular space for that reason. I like the idea of the box, but wonder how I would use it. I imagine it would still get pretty hot in the box - not a good place for sunglasses.

I installed a ham radio using the bulletpoint and it works perfect. When not using the vehicle I use a windshield protection to keep the sun out
