Ford Backordered Wiring Harness Part #RX6Z14290K

On 1/21/25 while traveling westbound on the 101 in Phoenix at 60 mph a step ladder fell off a vehicle in front of my Bronco Sport. This caused damage underneath the vehicle and my skid plates saved a lot of potential further damage. The vehicle is sitting waiting for the subject part and the insurance company may have to declare a discretionary total. I would rather get the vehicle repaired. I contacted 20 Ford parts dealers around the country and several salvage yards to no avail. The Ford internal note on this is attached.
In the interim I traded in my 2020 Nissan Armada for a new fill size Bronco and I will also be on the Bronco forum. Pix of the new Bronco are included here. If I can get the Bronco Sport fixed we will be an all Bronco family.

Westbound on the 101 at 60mph must have been fun - people love driving at 90+ on the 101, and on the 202, the 303, the 10, the 17…

Just curious if you checked Internet ford part stores like this one. Shows it has the wiring harness but probably wishful thinking.

Yup, this is Bob Howard parts. When you call or proceed to order they notify you it is backordered. Dude you are great, if you get any other leads let me know. In this day and age Ford should have issues like this resolved. I also had my guy in town who does Forscan work and wiring repair check out my vehicle and he can't repair the wiring harness.

So it sounds like you're in the Phoenix area there's a number of junkyards on Broadway starting at 19th avenue and heading west. There's also some over in the Chandler Tempe area. If I remember I and I'm sure there's a few other ones, but those are the two that I mainly frequent. I didn't look up with the wiring harness does, but you might check if it fits in other vehicles too cuz junkyards probably don't have too many broncos but they might have f-150s or you know the broncos similar to the ranger and you might see if you can find it on them if not new but in junkyard I love looking in junkyards and most are on a connected system that tells others what they have if you go to one they can often check others too.

What is the part for it looks expensive is it just the main engine harness or something? That's the color I had my bronco in I loved it just bright white, and you got the right trim too, kudos.
