For those who've upgraded their stock fog lights with an aftermarket product. Is it significantly better than stock? Is it worth the approximate $300 price tag? Thanks.

Diode Dynamics BS upgrade kit around $240. Definatly brighter but still SAE approved.
Attached video is the remove bumper method. there is another ytube video without bumper removal.

I have the Baja designs ones.

Short review: Man they are bright, and I love them.

Longer review:

Beam angle is wide however not directional to the ground. I feel bad having them on at night in the city because they are quite blinding. No biggie, because offroad or backroads they are amazing. I like using them more than my highbeams and find them to be more effective. The install wasn't too bad and it was literally plug and play. I have no regrets I just wish I could turn my cornering lights off... Maybe i'll ForScan that.

Does the picture show a comparison of the Baja with stock?

Thanks for the info. I'd really like something for the snow/crud we get around Seattle. The wifey and I also like to frequent the Cascades/east side of the mountains. Overall just the confidence and ease would be nice. I'll see what they have going on for Black Friday.

SAE, DOT Law Enforcement, I do not think ANYONE really cares anymore about these things and vehicle lighting. Just an observation from the road.
