Walked out to my car today, wet rainy day for the last couple of days. I have the car in a garage at night when I'm home.

I noticed that one of the fog lights is building up some condensation on the inside, while the other is just fine. I put my hand over the lense and couldn't feel is cracks or nicks and feels smooth all around. Anyone else have this where condensation is building up on the inside of a fog light lense? I feel like this would degrade the life of that led if left unchecked for an extended period of time. Is it even worth the trouble to fix it? Is it potentially a warranty fix? I only got my BS back in late August.

None that I’ve noticed and it’s been like the PNW here in the Midwest lately. Definitely want to get it looked at IMO.

When I was washing my Maverick a couple of weeks ago, I noticed slight condensation building in the headlights, not as extreme as this but enough to notice. It eventually dried out but what's weird is that the next time I washed it, there was no condensation. It's as if the seal fixed itself or something? It was weird but hopefully it doesn't happen again or if it does it doesn't burn out the lights. Hopefully this would be a warranty issue since it's a manufacturer defect.

Probably defective seal and dealer has to replace light assembly.

Is normal. The heat from the lamps are supposed to dry it. My taillights do it also

It's happened a lot here in Arizona. Any rain at all brings drastic pressure and humidty changes, so I do see a few drops of condensation in my lights. My issue is that the water is leaving scattered spots on the inside of the headlight assembly when the droplets dry, which makes me absolutely nuts when I detail my car.

Dealership says condensation (like yours @Petroph ) is normal. Not ideal, nor attractive, but normal. They say the problem (i.e. warranty claim) is when its droplets, drips or puddles appear.

I had a similar issue with my wife's Escape taillights. They had similar condensation like your and would not warranty it. It eventually became large droplets that dripped down the inside of the taillight. Only then, after contacting Ford, did they approve the warranty replacement.

So best case, hope it gets worse so Ford will warranty it.

I didn't even think about them having vents. Which makes sense since I hear fans roaring all the time in the garage when I get in or out of the car. Those fans gotta be venting something, just no fans in the forward fog light housings from the looks of it so condensation probably more likely to build up in those smaller LED housings.

Headlight and taillights are vented. Not sure if the fogs are though. Even so, Ford will probably not warranty what you have.

As @Major Kong's post says, "fine mist." Anything more than that you'd best take up with Ford.

Ya it was cleared up the next day since the rain stopped. Unless I see a considerable amount of build up where it looks like some small fishes can hang out, I will probably just leave as is.
