Anyone install Fitcamx?

Has anyone installed a Fitcamx 4K car cam in their BS? These are supposed to look OEM for various car models and just replaces a plastic piece in front of the mirror.

I love the idea of an unobtrusive, OEM-look camera. There are a couple issues, though Their “4K” cam actually uses a 2K sensor. Parking mode apparently takes 5-8 seconds after an impact to wake up. It’s very feature-limited (no GPS, for example) compared to most others, like Viofo and Wolfbox.

For the price point, it seems to be a solid if basic dash cam.

Yes. I installed this dash cam last month. It's not perfect, but it is the only OEM-look dash cam avail for the Bronco Sport. OK, here's more ... full 4K video IS Avail in the set-up menu. I only use the front view camera. The clarity of the video is pretty good. From the drivers seat, I can't see the dash cam "bulge" at all.

Android Auto works just fine. EXCEPT: if you allow auto log-on to the dash cam wi-fi, and your phone is set up to wi-fi priority calling, then you might lose your cell tower data xfer (i.e. no Waze or podcast connections). Ergo >> do not allow your phone to auto reconnect to the FitcamX wi-fi.

The FitCamX hits a pretty good price point. It does exactly what I want it to do...!
