The finance department at my dealership tried the same thing when I was picking up my wife’s BS. I knew I wasn’t going to take their “ceramic” option but I inquired to see what they were going to say. They said it would take the same amount of time it was going to take to sign all the paperwork. Lol.

Yeah, I’m sure I got fleeced on it. I MIGHT have a saving grace being that I never got the “Appearance Care Kit” and the copy of the contract I have doesn’t have my signature. But I feel they won’t budge too easily. It doesn’t help that they’re so far out of the way.

Did you end up getting it?

I wonder if I should just let it go and put it down to the markups that are on pretty much every other car out there. I'm sure they made profit off the Off-Road Assistance Kit, but I got a kit. The tint seemed reasonably priced, maybe a little more expensive, but I didn't have to wait. At least with the coating, I got a 7 year warranty on interior and exterior issues, including headlight fading. I'm just annoyed how they're dealing with it.
