What I LOVE about being retired is that every day is a weekend!!
The problem with that for me is that after over 50 years of up to 20 hour days and 7 day weeks for the bulk of it, I don't have a clue what I'm supposed to do with all this time on my hands, especially while waiting for the wife to retire. It's hard to not check email 37 times a day or prep for another trip across the country or around the world every 3-4 days. Only carrying one phone seems "off", like I'm forgetting something.

What's not hard is forgetting about mandatory annual "training" telling me to not be a jerk or talk about things I'm not supposed to. Yeah, my parents taught me those basics before I was in junior high. I hated it on active duty, was absolutely insulted by it in the private sector, and wanted to beat my head against a wall getting it from both ends as a civilian contractor to the government.

I check my email a lot too as well as post ? on the internet. I did purchase a fixer-upper which needed a few "cosmetic" items. That let to redoing the master bath, spare bath, kitchen floor, dining room floor.......

Remember, if you never finish, you can always justify "just one more tool." ;)
