Thanks. My deposit is $1000 with the dealer. I wouldn’t cancel the order until I was the owner of the other BS on the lot. My order just went in last week and my dealer just told me that Inshiukd have my order number and vin within the next week.
Wow, I thought the deposit with all dealers was refundable. Three dealers I've spoken to about placing a deposit have all told me that the deposit is refundable upto the day of signing.

It’s supposed to be fully refundable. My dealer transferred my original reservation deposit to my new (second) order after I cancelled my original (dealer will be keeping it for stock).

Just an FYI-no dealer should be requiring a deposit greater than $100 and they should not be marking up over sticker, Ford I believe clamped down on this practice as A/Z, D and X plans are all available. We ordered our BS Big Bend 2/8 with estimated delivery 8 to 12 weeks for the specific equipment we wanted. But our F150 lease is up in May and will have my salesman source something close from them or another dealer if necessary.

I don't belive they could keep that deposit. Dealer relationship? If they can deliver at the best price, that's a "relationship." I have never met a dealer that wasn't getting a healthy profit off of me -- or trying -- on the sale, financing, mfr or other kickbacks, my trade, or service. Do yourself a favor and be a smart shopper. The business today is too competitive to be that cozy with "your" dealer, who after all loves your money most. Never be dishonest yourself -- but understand the game they're playing. Unless sticking with them makes you feel good about it and you don't mind paying extra for that.

Your dealer should still be able to honor the 0.9% regardless of when it’s delivered. Mine has said they would since I placed the order in that timeframe.
My dealer texted me back that either incentives at time of order or incentives in place when vehicle is delivered would apply, whichever is better. Hope I dont lose my phone.
