Carlinkit has models that support both. Carlinkit 4.0 supports AA by emulating Carplay to the radio, which results in a lot of screen item size and behavior weirdness. 5.0 is supposed to do it natively. Ottocast now similarly has models that (allegedly do both).
The 4.0 implementation was really bad. It was usable for someone who had a Carplay only radio with no Android Auto support, but a really inferior implementation for someone who wanted wireless Android Auto on a vehicle that supported Android Auto.
