Does anyone know how to replace one of the side marker lights?

I guess the big question is how do I get to the backside? I thought about prying it until it breaks out, but I don’t want to damage the holes it snaps into
I think it would be best to take some of the fasteners out of the wheel well liner and pull it back. I have removed these on my BS when I first got it to paint them with smoke paint, but I can't remember exactly how they come out. From the backside it is fairly obvious, but it is something you will want to release instead of just overpowering the snaps. As you said, you don't want to damage the bumper. I remember that some of these things had snaps that were pretty hard to undo, but I found that some hose pliers (look like needle nose pliers with the ends bent to go around a hose) worked really well to compress the snaps in tight quarters.

Whenever I see someone parked out in the boonies I go park right next to them. Why? Because they are clearly conscientious about door dings, so at least one side of my car will be protected. Also, it's fun to think the owner will come out to their car and wonder why, with all the empty spot around, some idiot had to park right next to them. :cwl:

For the record, I do park next to them on the passenger side...
Yea, I thought this too, until an older lady parked next to me (out in the boonies) and proceeded to give me my first door ding in my 1 week old Aspen Super coupe.

Don't try to pry it out - you may break something inside that the new light needs to snap into. Replacing it is not a complex job but it also isn't an easy job. You have to loosen or remove the wheel well liner in order to squeeze and release the clips on the back of the light to get it out. Probably not what you want to hear - but it is what needs to be done.
