All models in Canada are required to have it , state law . I might be incorrect saying state law , and for that I must apologize .
Do you have a source on that?

I’m not sure if it’s federal or provincial law here, couldn’t find anything using a quick Google search.

As awesome as it would be, I don’t think this is the case. Lots of new vehicles being sold here don’t have it.

Posting this so people who are Canadian or otherwise interested can see.

I have found the Canadian order guide for the 2023 model year on another forum site and on it, under the base model, it comes standard with rain-sensing wipers and wiper de-icer.

Although it’s dated 08/11/22, this was the best I could find. Don’t know if there’s been an update since then.

I have ordered a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands. It went into production yesterday Jan 4th, I ordered it Oct 16th. The window sticker is available now and it shows “ Windshield Wiper de-Icer “ Not sure if it is standard or added when the block heater is added. Until I read this thread I didn’t even know it was an option so thanks folks.
