Dash USB-C ports

There are two USB-C ports in the tray in the middle of the dash. I plugged a cable into them and it will not power up my dash cam. But I use the usb ports in the front of the console it powers up. Are these lower powered or need to be activated

I am using a Redtiger F4 4K dash cam using one of those c ports without issues. Maybe your dashcam requires higher amperage.

I have an Escort combination radar detector/ dash cam plugged into one of the plugs on the dash and it works with no problem.
Mine must have a specific power cord, though.
