I'm trying to find a spray paint to match the gunmetal grey grill on the badlands.

I have an alto blue badlands and want to paint the HRG skid plate to match that color.... and maybe some vinyl in the future.

Has anyone tried to color match the grill?

Best I've seen through google research is "Kustom Cars" Ford carbonized grey.

The color of the Badlands grille is Carbonized Gray, code M7. Your best bet is to take a photo in natural light and just run to your nearest hardware store and try to match it to a spraypaint. Alternatively, grab a bunch of grey paint chips, bring them out to the parking lot and find the best match against your grille, then go back into the store and find your spraypaint by finding the closest match to the paint chip.

I also found this if you want a quick and easy solution. But the paint chip method is probably cheaper and will work just as well. Hope this helps!

Most of the larger auto body shops can match it, and I've had them put it into a rattle can (spray can).
At the very least, have them mix up a pint of the color match, then find a shop that can fill some of it to a spray can.
