That would be worth spending an afternoon of work.

You did not resurface the rotors either, right?

I did not. They looked/felt good and were clean, no warp. The pads weren't as worn when I actually got them off. Apparently just shi++y material.

Like others said, make sure to put it in maintenance mode and don't lose the little plastic caps that cover the caliper slide pins. It was a 40 or 45 hex head... I can't remember exactly.

Do it. You'll be glad you did.

One last question and I'm good: what made you decide to go with the BRF1954/JX6Z2200D vs what Ford lists for these cars (potentially newer), JX6Z2200E?

I believe they are one in the same?

The FoMoCo. Couldn't find aftermarket. Rockauto had the best deal on them, ~30 bucks cheaper than Ford. BRF1954.
Did you replace your front pads as well? If so was it the BRF1913’s?
I am assuming these aren’t ceramic. Hoping to avoid the brake dust from the front recall replacements…

I did not. Still haven't, and when I got my new tires, they still looked good - 63k miles.

Be careful with the electric parking brake. There is a lot of information about how to put the parking brake into maintenance mode for other model Fords, but I have seen anything specific to the Bronco Sport yet. I tried the method described in this video and it works for my car.

That procedure is pretty Ford generic and will work on the Sport.

You will need a torque wrench, 19mm deep socket, hex sockets, and a tool to compress your calipers. I am fairly certain that the BS will need the tool that rotates the caliper while it compresses. You will need brake grease and silicon grease for the pins.
