I solved that problem by purchasing two (different size) moving blankets from Harbor Freight. I keep those on top of the CMS shelf. This solves the problem of things sliding around and I often use the moving blankets with one or both rear seats folded down to prevent marks or scratches to the plastic in the Bronco Sport interior.

I also have this cargo net. Its 4 hooks attach to the 4 built in attachments directly next to the rear cargo hatch in the back - no drilling or anything else is needed but the net comes with various installation options that aren’t needed for my usage. This net prevents something not too heavy from sliding out when the hatch is open or you can fold the CMS shelf half way and insert grocery bags into the nets compartment.

Large Adjustable Elastic Envelope Cargo Net - 43" x 17.5" Nylon Mesh Flexible Storage Organizer Net for SUV Car Trunk with 2 Installation Options - XL Black https://a.co/d/1YvcEnV
I bought this and it works great; sadly I didn't order my BS Limited Heritage with the CMS and I regret it, but I bought a storage unit that holds things in place and keeps them from sight. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QRQKBK8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Dottie, so your original CMS flooring pictured above was the hard shell? Did you overlay that with the Rubber Mat, or did you replace it? My badlands came with the CMS, and the hard surface on the seatback and flooring which is great, but things slide around.

First off, I LOVE my new 2022 Badlands.
The ONLY thing that I am having trouble with is the rear cargo management system (the trunk divider). On the Badlands we bought, the plastic divider came standard, and any time we go grocery shopping, or try to put anything on the top, it slides around like nobody’s business. Does anyone else have this problem?

I was going to look for a replacement with some rubber on it, or something of the sort, since I love the idea, but the material they made it out of makes it nigh impractical. Anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?
Are you aware of the locks on each side of the platform? Put it in place and look on right/left sides near the windows. You will see arrows. Those lock the platform in place.

I am going to try to spray the cargo flooring and divider with plasti dip. I’ve watched others with success, so it should do the job.

They may be referring to items sliding on top of the CMS. Even unlocked it doesn't move much, if at all.
