Saw this Car Keys Express mobile van at a local Costco today

They provide key and keyfob replacement at a reduced price for Costco members

Example: $299 for a 5 button Bronco Sport keyfob (2022 Bronco Sport Badlands), that price includes a new keyfob, programming the keyfob to your vehicle and cutting the metal key, I did not ask what the Costco discount is

I also did not ask if they can program a key for features that didn’t come with your OE keyfob, one of the pics has a phone # to inquire if interested
(Info on remote start button: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/remote-start.5128/post-87688)

If interested you can check if a mobile van will be at your local Costco, schedules are posted up to 6 months in advance

Here is a representative page from the Costco App, you can also search this online for your local Costco

If you are just getting additional keys and already have two, it is much cheaper to buy the key + blank emergency blade online (around $90 lightly used, $100 new per fob) and then pay a Ford Dealer to cut the blank (Colonial Ford of Danbury charged me $25 to cut two blanks).

The price of keyfob + programming if you have one or more lost keys is very competitive however. You don't have a choice to do it yourself because you need to be a dealer or authorized third party to get the incode/outcode to program keys without two already programmed keys.

(Prior to 2016 MY in the US Ford vehicles with intelligent access fobs generally used time based authorization, meaning that if you waited with ForSCAN with an OBDII reader hooked up long enough, you could wipe all keys and add 1st + 2nd keyfobs yourself. That was obviously a security risk as if you left your vehicle unlocked (or someone gained entry) they could program a new fob and drive away.

The new uncracked incode/outcode requirement is a big pain, and makes most third parties unable to program keys for newer Fords with Fobs.
