I was actually somewhat relieved when I got my first ding.
Same as my last new car…
So, what’s my point ?
It’s just some body damage, they’ll fix it.

just had my first real 'ding' after washing up yesterday I saw the primer and some bare metal on the driver door. If I recall, it was a large stone/metal chunk that came off a vehicle ahead of me on I-75. Thankfully I had just washed it, had the touch up with A-51 and it's a perfect match. Just need to level out the depth of the chink a little more and clearcoat. Door is aluminum so I am not deeply concerned with rust.

I have yet to get my first ding or scratch but as I am in a parking lot with 80 spaces that is almost always completely full, it is bound to happen. The one upside, everyone is a driver by profession and drive way nicer cars and trucks than me lol. They are just as paranoid.

Ugh... well after 11 months of pristine ownership and countless off-road excursions I finally received my first "ding" on the front bumper. I'd like to day I was exploring the lost continent of Atlantis, or trekking the Sahara ... but truth be told I was stuffing my face with a Whataburger (I'm in Texas mind you...) and for some reason decided to drive forward to hop the 2 inch curb and "bam!" struck a metal pole!

Yup... I'm a winner..hahahah. Actually pressed the soft front bumper ( about a 50 cent piece sized) leaving a slight dent/depression and nicked a tiny flake of paint...
