Extending gas and brake pedal

My wife is having issues touching the pedals and does not want to move the seat up to far because of the airbag. Has anyone had success in putting extensions on the pedals or have a site to purchase such a thing.

With modern airbags the NHTSA recommends a minimum of 10 inches from the airbag cover. Have you measured the distance with the seat positioned so she can reach the pedals? If you didn't know, the steering wheel also telescopes.

I did not know the steering column telescoped on the BS. Not sure how much of an extension is needed, but here is a source for pedal extensions.

lots of options for fiesta and focus accelerator pedal only, spacer. not sure if mounting position is the same or not. basically raises accelerator pedal about an inch. some are machined aluminum, or 3D printed.
