Bronco Sport Nudge Bar

I have a 2021 Bronco Sport Badlands. Love it but would like to add a nudge / bull bar that does not interfere with the adaptive cruise control. I called my local Ford dealer's parts team and they shared that there is not one available. Anyone know of an option(s)?

I too have a 2021 Big Bend with a Rough Country nudge bar. No interference what so ever. Looks and installs great.

I have a Rough Country nudge bar on my Badlands. It is not an easy install. I had to remove the front tow hooks and customize the front mounting brackets with additional mounting holes and with additional grade 8 hardware. I had to cut about 2” to 3” off the bottom of the mounting brackets or the bumper cover will not go back on. All sensors work as expected.

Jerry is concerned with the ADAPTIVE cruise control sensor.

Per the RC website listing, it specifically states for non- Badlands but I wanted what I wanted and love a great challange. I have adaptive cruise and it works perfectly without any sensor mods.

in retrospect, I would have a pre-runner style bumper bar/ skid plate fabbed up and cut the lower bumper valance near the wheel wells to add more approach angle. I desert wheel and overland quite a bit in our BS and the mods would be to allow to reuse the tow hooks and integrate a removable skid plate like a trophy truck. Still thinking about making it anyways and scrapping the RC nudge bar. The ford ranger lifts nudge bar would be a lighter weight nudge bar option if you want a bolt in nudge bar. The RC nudge bar is very heavy for the BS.

All, thanks for the input and ideas. The Badlands trim model seems to be a particular challenge but doable. For all of these nudge bars, which I presume by definition, are low / vehicle center only.

Is anyone aware of a bar that has 'wings' that wrap and protect the headlights, but again does not interfere with the adaptive cruise control?

Perhaps asking for too much but certainly looking to learn of options from the more experienced. Thanks.

Speaking of interference, as I was waiting to exit a parking lot, I was behind a HRV. For whatever reason, this idiot throws it in reverse and BAM! right into me. Luckily, only the plate and it's frame were damaged. If I had a nudge bar, I'm quite certain I would have lost the grill ad well
