Black Lug Nuts

Just to follow up: I ended up getting black lug nut caps from amazon. They were cheaper and easy to install. They come in all different colors. 19 MM

What the heck do you use on your tires? Do you ever drive the car??

I treat my Bronco to a detailing every month to clean it up and to maintain it, inside and out. I just had the detailing done the day prior to me adding the lug nuts, so the shine they used on the tires was still fresh. What they use for the shine, I do not know. I always love the look of it, though.

@DeedleGuy, I got the center flag emblem on amazon - 4PCS 56mm American Flag Wheel Hub Center Cap Sticker Brand: Gaolaosy. Sticks on perfectly, better than a vinyl decal, and easier than removing the existing caps. $7.02 for all 4.

Just as an FYI. The easiest way to remove the center caps, without damaging them, is use a suction cup. Place it on there, apply the suction, and it pulls right off. No need for prying.

No, mine have no lock all five are plain lug nuts. They are more like the ones shown on that page in the pictured in the “frequently bought together” on that page price @ $50.

Black lug nuts are the way to go! I went with the painted ones initially, but after my first time taking them off, the paint chipped all over them… so I went with the McGard locking set. A little more expensive, but much stronger.
