My Badlands 4WD module had a fault last year, it also trigged a number of other codes.
Vehicle was at the dealer almost 2 weeks.
Diagnosis: 4WD module not communicating with other systems, dealer replaced the module.
In my case the module was not covered under warranty as I was just over the 3yr/36000 bumper to bumper warranty and also was not covered by the 5yr/60000 powertrain warranty because its considered an electrical part.
In the end Ford did do a goodwill gesture, otherwise the repair bill would have been close to $1000 dollars.

When I was doing my own research there were a number of complaints on the NHTSA site with various model (Escape, Corsair, Edge, Explorer etc) Ford 4WD/AWD systems.
Typically the 4WD/AWD module, actuator motor or speed sensor was the cause of the problem.

Another person on this board had the 4WD fault and it was a wiring issue caused by vermin.

2022 Ford bronco sport 57995 miles.. i get off the interstate, and i'm in a subdivision, and the wrench comes on. Avoidance crash, 4 wheel drive in op. Hill assist and op cruising op. Adaptive cruise control in op

My first thought is, I'm this close to 60000 miles, and this is what happens..

I assume is a computer that controls the transmission. And based off of this threat, I assumed that it would not be covered under the drivetrain.
I got to my destination less than 5 minutes later. I shut the car off restarted the car and about 1100 miles later. So far, nothing.
I got the new AMG battery installed under warranty, and what I can figure is sometimes you'll just get a low voltage, creating that wrench. It shifts fine and drives fine, but it sure doesn't instill any confidence.

Still have a emissions light for the vapor control valve.

You have other posts from April with possible RDU problems, was that resolved or is this a continuation from April.

You don't want to just throw parts at the problem, you need more information like an actual diagnosis otherwise its just a guess of what the cause is.
If the 4WD module is the problem the replacement module will need to be programmed to the RDU.
Module P/N M1PZ-7P238-C

Yes, that's a continuation, the problem persists. Is the module number the new 2025 module for the Badlands version?

The diagnosis is either a faulty module or a damaged left or right actuator.

If purchasing a module you should check which is the latest correct P/N using your VIN.
