A Bronco maybe but Bronco Sport is Sync 3 so that Sync 4 APIM isn’t compatible

The issue may be with the amount of memory. There are APIMS with different amounts of memory. I also was told by a Ford Tech that changing out the APIM requires the Ford FDRS to program the APIM. Do you know anyone at a dealership that will do this for you? Unless of course you can use FORScan to save the configuration of your existing Bronco Sport APIM to be able to reprogram the F-150 APIM after installing into the Bronco Sport. Google says that’s possible but I’ve never done it. Let’s see if others comment that have swapped the APIM and can give you the instructions.

BTW I’ve tried in the past using the full APIM part number to find out more info like how much memory it has etc. but no luck for me, I never found how to decode the part #.

And yesterday he told me now Ford puts all on 32 G sticks and if I give him the VIN he can load and then just put in my USB and it will load. Not sure he’s right
