I was lead to believe by the dealer that the Continentals on my BS were the better of the tires offered from Ford. I've always sworn by BF Goodrich All Terrain TA's - I think they wear like iron and look good too. I have KO2's on my Raptor and love them.

Ah so completely baseless opinion got it. Was just wondering. Thought maybe you had tried each tire in the A/T category and had some personal insight into the matter.
He is not wrong about Firestone tires, I had a set installed on my last car, less than 200 miles on them, 2 flats, mind you on a 15 yo car that hasn't had 1 much less 2 flats in its entire life, (not counting over night leak downs by nail punctures) I have 1 friend and 2 family members that had similar experiences with them, as for the continental tires, I replaced mine with 14k on them after one blew apart driving at a measly 25mph, I suspect the tire may have already been compromised, 2 of the remaining 3 had gashes in the bead, not sure if it was a result of the tire machine though, I asked to see them after the tire change was completed, planning to use the 1 remaining one as a spare

Still baseless. One bad experience with a tire and multiple different possible scenarios for flats with zero context as to how the flats occurred? Come on. 22k on my AT2s with 0 issues. No cupping and minimal tire wear.

Firestone is a leading manufacturer In every aspect of tires. To each their own though. Everyone will form their own opinion of course. Anyone who says different has formed a baseless opinion. Every tire manufacturer has their ups and downs.

If you actually do research though you'll see the AT2 is comparible to the beloved Toyo A/T even beating it in categories such as wet performance, snow performance, fuel mileage and road noise.
