Hey everyone,

I ordered a 2025 Bronco Badlands with the Sasquatch package back in October, and while I was checking the build date for next week, I noticed something interesting in the owner’s manual. They mention a new GOAT mode called "Rally."

I’m curious if it’s anything like the Drift mode in the Focus RS, where the AdvanceTrac (ESC) intervention is barely noticeable? Would be nice to have fun in snow without any ESC intervention such as throttle cut out or brake engaging.

The manual doesn’t give much info, so I thought I’d ask here.

Manual is really bad ... exactly the same text for OFF-ROAD mode ... Anyone heard more informations?

Rally Mode vs. Sand Mode

Sand Mode in earlier models was primarily for driving on soft, dry sand or deep snow, basically enhancing traction and control in those low-traction terrains. The new Rally Mode, on the other hand, is optimized for high-speed driving in sandy conditions. Rally Mode features include:
  • Longer Gear Holding: Keeps the vehicle in higher gears longer, providing more power on demand.
  • Sharpened Throttle Response: Enhances throttle response for a more exhilarating driving experience.
  • Increased Steering Feedback: Offers more direct feedback through the steering, making for a more engaging off-road experience.

Considering Bronco Sport rally mode can only be used on soft surfaces, though you can drift in the dirt it's not quite the same as the Focus RS drift mode which can be used on the track to control oversteer.
Back in the day of being a delinquent, we would play baja 1000 drivers at night with our 4WD trucks on the horse trails at high speeds and drift through the sweeping turns, it was a lot of fun at the time.

I know it's a federal requirement to have stability control but c'mon it shouldn't apply to offroading modes. I hear even on the Big Bronco it's an issue while sand driving where the engine get cutout when climbing sand dunes sideways.
