Any 18" OBX wheels powder coated?

I have the stock 18" OBX wheels and I wanna get them powder coated, was just looking to see if anyone has done this already and can share some reference pics. Thanks!

If you’re doing for mostly aesthetic I believe you can find some pre cut vinyl overlays for the machined areas. It is a lot cheaper and gets the same effect.

Before powder coating was readily available we would basically use light grease and apply it to the wheels machined surfaces, it was much easier than masking with tape and then paint the wheel/rim whatever the desired color is. After the paint had dried you could easily wipe off the masking grease, the machined wheel surfaces looked good as well as the freshly painted new wheel color.

Before and after putting on the vinyl stickers. Definitely messed up in some spots but hey they were $40 and still look a lot better than the chrome.

I put these vinyl stickers on my rims, it was a tedious job but well worth the aesthetic pleasure of taking out the chrome.
