Because I live out in the desert/mountains, I can get right to the BLM/NM dirt within a few miles of the house , so I most often “air down” before leaving the house, then use the air compressor in the garage to “air up” after I get back.

However, I am also often driving over pavement to further off-roading destinations, and have to do the air-down/up at the intersection of road and trail.

For that, I use the ARB CKMP12 portable air compressor and JACO Flopro tire inflator w/ gauge. Both recently purchase off Amazon. Note I already had the equivalent Smittybuilt portable (from my Jeep Wrangler past) but just never liked it much. I really like the ARB. I got the Smittybuilt for price point, but now, for me, the ARB is worth it. Satisfied with the JACO too, easy read, fast air down and up.

I googled it, $392 on Amazon !
I’ll stick to my $39 12 volt compressor and my $29 digital tire guage. They both work just fine.

Seriously, have you tried airing a flat tire up with your compressor? If so, what was the approximated time required?

Wow, that system looks very capable! I'm guessing you have an external spare tire/wheel? Can you share particulars?
Yakima Platform B
Yakima tire carrier
Pneumatic 1/4" wrench and sockets
The bonus, sends an air line to the front...

I was hoping for details on the compressor and how you installed it.

Hornblasters Train Horns
3 gallon tank and compressor
Has two ports one to the horns, the other for air or pneumatic tools.

Originally I wanted under hood but just wasn't enough space for that size setup.
Wiring and hose runs thru pillars.

My Bontrager hand pump raises my 17” 235’s on my Bronco one psi in 12 pumps. I’m no spoiled city boy, I use it all the time, not the compressor.
But I do use the compressor if I need to put in 10,15 or 20 psi after a flat. Like if I push a plug in.
It raises my tires 2 psi per minute.
