Advantages of a Ford Brand Dashcam?

What are the advantages of getting the Ford Dashcam over another brand from Amazon or Crutchfield? Installation? Reliability? Integration with vehicle controls?

Unfortunately not. They're Thinkware brand which you can buy elsewhere. I have one and it's been nice, but there's nothing about it that makes it work especially well with Ford. The OBD II connection was very convenient for installation.

99% of all dashcams use the same commercially available camera. The only difference pretty much comes down to the resolution you are looking for. And don't fall for the "4K Dashcams" either.
