Yes you can. You need to pull the Plastics still. Thanks for the pictures and your experience.
I was just wondering if you can disconnect the third brake light connecter without pulling the light assembly?

Let me know how that goes. Maybe I'll put one in for the wife. It's really her car. Of course, she doesn't drive it a lot. Thanks, I want to install a third brake light flasher when I hit my brakes. I see so many busted up front and tail ends of vehicles in Nashville but does stop them from tail gating. Nope.
Yeah. I just didn't want to break anything more than she already did. I had to pull small dents too from that. Not perfect. But much better. I wouldn't mind that manual of its handy. Hate asking for things like that since they can be expensive.
That's an easy fix. Paintless dent removal and a buff job from that I see.New owner and new to the forum. 24 BS Outer Banks. Had 3rd Brake Light replaced at 200 miles. The dealer dented and scuffed the section just above the light. They have ordered a replacement “cap”. I could not find such a cap and it appears to be a part of the entire Liftgate. Def. disappointed the sloppiness of the work here. Is this just a quick and easy replacement “cap” or does the whole Liftgate need to be replaced?
