The Yokohama Geolanders I've had for some time on my 04 Escape will go on my Base model BS. I'll stick with what I know and have had time on.
Don't want a noisy heavy tire that eats more fuel or sings on the road.
The 235 Yoko's have almost the same diameter so no speedo variation concerns.
,
I see where Ford spec'ed softer springs and stiffer shocks so we can actually take advantage of the additional suspension travel. I've also watched a buddy drive mine while standing near the vehicle.
At full articulation my stock tires get close at certain turn angles. I won't risk any rub or damage issues.
Hope you guys are checking clearance at suspension limits.
I'll go 235 but not 245 as I won't be doing a lift..
Just saying.

I’ll post some photos of the suspension at different compressions when I get back to my home state

Probably not, I’m not worried about it being 2 off. It would be the same as if you bought a new truck and threw bigger tires on it
Most tire companies list Revolutions per mile. It might surprise you how close and or far apart various sizes are..
Just saying.

point is that it’s not really that far off. There is a calculator that I used and it ranges from 1 to 2.5 mph off at different speeds

Rookie question, isn't the 245 the width of the tire? why would that change the actual speed running a wider tire?
