2025 Fender Tie Down Retrofit Diagrams

If you lift the hood of a 2025, you will see some padding right at the firewall. Pull it back and you will see two bolts. Remove them and the whole unit just slides out. Very easy to do. I don't know if earlier models have the threaded bolt holes though.

I checked my 21 and I assume the two bolts you take out to remove the assembly are the two circled in yellow below?

If so, the pre-25's don't have that entire black bracket circled in green below. I think this, along with whatever those bolts thread into(?) are part of the components that would need to be ordered if someone was going to do the retrofit.

Yes, you have it right. The two bolts in yellow hold the unit in place they thread through the bracket, and their ends are visible

You are right. The two bolts in yellow thread through the green bracket and come out near the door hinge. I don't know if the hinge assemblies are the same and if you have room for the bracket though.

Here is a pic of the door jamb where the bolts exit through threaded holes.

Still waiting myself. I recently ordered the Sasquatch flares, and I was told initially 2-3 weeks, and now the order is sitting waiting to be fulfilled. With no ETA.

Eventually, I’ll probably just order the pieces to make this work through the dealer myself.

I just looked them up & they are available as individual pieces; 2 mouldings, 2 braces, 2 handles & assorted bolts. They totaled up to over $2,600.00. All of these parts are in stock @ the Livonia PDC.
I can provide part numbers if want them after you pick yourself off the floor. It was a hard pass for me.

The stinking cast handles ae $958.00 each. The tie downs are only $495.00 added to the $2,495.00 Sasquatch package on the 2026s. We're always telling the sales dept if you want a King Ranch, Sasquatch, ST, etc. order one, there's no way to economically recreate one from one on the lot.
