Its available on the Mustang, so its possible.
I'd argue the mustang is a completely different line. Bronco exclusive vs Sport option, I don't see happing. Granted I never expected the velocity blue either...so for what that''s worth, you could be right. Strategically I don't see it.

Given the parts-availability trend and what happened from the '21 to '22 Badlands (and other trims), I'm expecting the '23s to suffer another round of lost features.

Of all the missing features on our '22 BL Sport that are there on the '21 BL Sport, the one that irks me the most is the folding headrests on the 2nd row. I have to take time to move front seats to fold the rear seats. Thanks, Ford, for nothing. But hey, I'm one of the few '22 BL Sports that got delivered with an engine cover. So I guess I have that to be happy about, right?

My money is on removing a few more options on the '23, but potentially introducing small upgrades to balance it out. I'm betting the power folding mirrors found on the BS Wildtrak in Brazil are the first time we're seeing an upgrade coming to US models, too.
Sincerely hoping for a "sand" tan color or eruption green. If green had been an option when I ordered, that would've been my pick.

If Ford is smart, they're going to lose the BRONCO SPORT lettering on the rear, or at least the SPORT part and then pick a new color. I swear 99% of owners (me too) slap a sticker on that the day they drive it off the lot. A measurable number of those people delete the SPORT entirely because they like BRONCO and hate the look or the cleaning chore they present. Anyone else go buy special brushes to clean out the letters? I had to!

I bet more lines are going to swap and share paint. I think color choice is going to be limited to what Ford has on hand, and Eruption is a color they have on hand. As I said earlier, plan on a wrap if you don't want any current color. Less cost than the Market Adjustments most of these jackholes are adding on.

Only thing I've read is they'll have fold down engine covers with ambient lighting on all models.
Ok this just made my day!

something tells me that will not be an option. It appears to be an exclusive tied to the Bronco everglades package with snorkel etc.
Nope, offered on other trims as well.

Will probably know around September. Green would be a great addition
I had a hard time picking a color for my BS, but if eruption green was an option I wouldn't have even had to think about it. I would consider passing on my Badlands when it finally shows up if I knew I could get a green 2023 shortly after.

Imagine everything missing in the late 2021 and all 2022 models are restocked by the time the 2023 models start coming off the line.... They all have engines covers, folding head rests, temp guage readings, passenger side cover, hood insulation, rear hatch unlocked button...... man wouldn't that be a slap to the face..... ?

Ford prob removed content to increase profits so not likely they add them back in.

That will absolutely NOT be happening. Most people are confused enough without making it even more difficult by removing the SPORT branding.

With that said, I've read they want/plan to make the Bronco name as it's own 'sub-brand'. Anyone think the Maverick may get absorbed into it and be renamed like GM did with the Escalade/ESV/EXT?

I’ve read that too & it probably makes some sense. I’m not sure there’d be the same level of excitement around the Sport say if it was called the Escape Sport. It wouldn’t be quite the same vehicle or make so much sense. I could definitely see them absorbing the Maverick into that, except for these couple articles I’ve seen that seem to indicate they’re looking to grow the Maverick brand in the same way as the Bronco brand.
