I knew There'd be those who disagree with me and I do sincerely apologize as it's not my point to insult anyone's taste in colors. My point is that Ford should be more flexible and give the customer options that make sense to the customer especially if they're buying a loaded vehicle. It's just weird that Ford would be controlling over what interior goes with what trim when they have them all available to use.
Likewise not to insult you or anyone else,.this is a basic entry level small SUV. The "limitless optioning" is more common in the escape. Too many want all the bells and whistles and fine details on a vehicle that was designed to play in the mud and battle the jeep. Some of you shopped the wrong vehicle.

I WANT RAPID FIRE RED TO COME BACK!!!!!!!!!! HOT PEPPER RED ISNT RED ITS COPPER METALLIC UGLY!! WHY DOES FOPD CHANGE COLORS SO OFTEN????????? BRONCO SPORT COLORS ARE LAME. What PERSON SELECTED THESE COLORS SHOULD BE RELEIVED OF HIS DUTIES
I strongly disagree. Every color they have selected works with the sport. Again, perhaps a sport isn't for you. Maybe a mustang or escape? Blazer makes a sharp red. Ford cannot possibly cater to every wish.

Ford should really consider doing something about the interiors as well. They've discontinued the two colors, KB and BSM, that the Ebony Roast interior actually complements. It boggles my mind how Ford limits the Badlands to just one leather option. Just for kicks I built a BL in Velocity Blue on the Ford site and brought the sticker price to a hair under $54k yet I still only have one leather int. option and it doesn't go with blue at all. Navy Pier would be the obvious choice but Ford won't let me even at that cost. It doesn't make sense. Once upon a time Ford actually put real thought into creating harmony between the int. and ext.
$54K? Maybe $44K.

almost 54k when maxed out with accessories. Add sales tax and doc fees and it's over 57k. Put it on Ford Credit and they're making even more money off of the customer.

I get what you're saying and agree. I have a very basic BL with the Falkens and the towing package with Area 51 interior and I love it (other than the basic sound system). Personally, I couldn't afford much more but for people who have a larger budget and want to go to town with accessories Ford should not restrict the customer's options and just allow the choice of ALL interiors.

One reason i wanna know the package details is because i was looking at a badland but the wife wants the heated wheel and stereo and to get some of the things she wants you have to go for the premium pack which defaults you to the brown leather which the wife hates.

I dont think that will change, but when buying the fully loaded model it would be nice to have some options.

Seems like brown, period, doesn’t last on these BS.

Is the Atlas Blue similar to Velocity Blue, just a name change?
The Atlas Blue looks an awful lot like the old Blue Jeans Blue I had on two different F150’s. I could be wrong.

Seems I no longer have pictures of those trucks, or I’d post and get your opinion.

I was concerned that I would really want to order a 23MY in Eruption Green, but having seen a Bronco, in that color in town, I find I wasn’t all that impressed. Maybe if it was a bit brighter? I know if Ford ever brings back the Star White Metallic or a Gold Metallic to the BS, I’m in trouble. In the mean time I’ll stick with my Velocity Blue. ?

Honestly I think that's part of the cost saving. Imagine how long these would take to build if they had to source ten different interior combos for any given order. To quote the man himself, Henry Ford, "sure you can order it in any color so long as it's black." Ford mainstreamed the assembly process and of all the major automakers they endured the recession without government bailouts. I'll side with Ford and say they have a system and method to their madness. And this is not directed at you by any means, it's off the cuff...anyone who doesn't like what they are doing...why would you spend $30-40k on something you don't want? Chevy and dodge are screaming for your money. Good argument. It's nice to be able to disagree without anger and close minded thought. I tell my kids I am not right, you are not wrong, there is truth in both sides, and it's likely somewhere between the points.

Personally, I live in a rainy state. Water and dirt make mud, so I wanted a tan or brown interior. If the Ebony/Roast had not been to my liking, I would have paid the extra $‘s for Katzkin custom leather. I had Katzkin on my 2014 F150 and they were a perfect fit.

Atlas blue. As seen on the 2020 Explorer, in what I think to be fairly neutral light. If anybody is curious, I wasn’t thinking about it until reading the post about F-150s. Most Fords tend to look good in blues of various hues.

Ford does not need to add any other interior options to sell every single sport that rolls off the line. More buyers then available vehicles to sell. If when Ford thinks more choices features are needed to move units thats when you'll see it happen. I think we are a long ways away from that though.

Did you replace the tires or are those optional?
Those are not OEM tires. Those are BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A Tires I believe. Think the optional tire upgrade is a Faulken Wildpeak type tire if I'm not mistaken.

Looks a tad lighter than the Blue Jeans Blue, but not by much.
