14k on the clock, using coolent. I borescoped all 4 cylinders no intrusion found. I'm pretty sure it's not a head or gasket problem. Complete inspection on engine shows no leaks, drips or wet spots any where at all. Everything completely dry. I'm thinking now it's a bad EGR Cooler leaking the coolent into the exhaust. Is this a known problem with the 2.0 Egoboost ?? I'm losing about 8 ozs of coolant every 500 miles. Anyone else having or had the problem ?? Thanks in advance for any help with this...

Hi Joe! I can look into your bronco's leak concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your bronco's VIN?

I’m having similar issues now with a ā€˜21 Badlands. Did you get this resolved?

I have a 22 bronco sport badlands with no signs of coolant loss but losing at an alarming rate. Dealer has been chasing down for over a day and so far nothing. And they have no loaner. It is atill under warranty but they scoped the cylinders and checked all the usual coolant loas spots and nothing. Losing coolant and pressure, but they cant find where. Very concerning

About how much coolant loss are you seeing at the alarming rate?
I noticed the leak last week Thursday 20th. Make appointment For Friday 27th. It was low but not terrible, but low. Sunday 23 it just above the tube leading down fromthe reservoir. Topped it off 3/4 between min/max. By Thursday 27th night when i dropped it off the reservoir was bone dry. I am not sure how long I had the leak, because I was checking my wiper nozzle when I noticed rhe reservoir was below min on the 20th. From this Sunday, to Thursday night the reservoir went from reccomended to empty. Pic was Sunday before fill.

Wow that is a huge loss in a short time. Very surprising the dealership can’t find where it’s going. It’s almost like you could watch the level drop but it’s not quite that fast.

They said they put the pressure test on and watched the pressure and coolant go bye bye, but checked everything. They scopped all 4 cylinders, all hoses, water pump, no idea where its going. 0 evidence of any leak past the head gasket, no evidence of burning. No drips, no smoke, no smell maybe its going to where lost socks go. But when he said bone dry Thursday night I was like jesus. And they have no loaner cars to give, and ford wont get me a rental until they find the source of the leak to determine if it is warranty 31.5k, 2 years 11 months old.

Thanks. I was hoping it might be like the EGR like thisi board says, but the service tech said his head guy was on it and pissed because they cant bill it for warranty until they get a diagnosis.
