Anybody getting a sound like something is loose in the rear of their OB ? I have checked everywhere and have found nothing. If I shake the vehicle side to side or up and down I don't hear anything but going down the road I can hear it ? But not always ....Any help greatly appreciated.

I sometimes hear “creaking” and have thought to take to my 4x4 guy and have him check my lift. But I never hear when driving over bumps or off road type obstacles. I think for me I hear the plastic, if that makes sense. Recently I loaded a bunch of stuff in the cargo area and didn’t hear anything. I wonder if something is moving cause it isn’t held down all the way

Yeah it's weird doesn't do it all the time. The plastic cover for the rear wiper that is part of the interior hatch panel is loose on mine I thought that could be the issue but now I don't think it is.

Is it a rattle? I had a rattle in the right rear of mine and had it fixed. Sounds like metal?

You need to be more specific. Is it a rattle? A clunk? A clank? A tapping? Is it rhythmic? If so, does the frequency change with speed? The more specific you are the better chance someone else has heard the same thing and can help you.

A youtuber made a video about a rattling noise in the rear of his BS. Turned out to be something loose above the headliner.

Its more of rattle/clunk I would say....I did see youtube video about the headliner I can safely say it is not the headliner.

Rhythm? Frequency? Only when you hit bumps or all the time? The more data the greater the likelihood of a resolution, especially if the noise is intermittent or you can't make it repeat on demand.

Frequency I would categorize as intermittent, no real rhythm or frequency at all. Bumps or no bumps it just occurs randomly.

They heard it and took off the right rear inner panel and found that the "Railer Module Bracket" was loose and re-tightened it. Haven't had an issue since.

Were you able to get this resolved? I have a similar issue with my Big Bend. I thought it was an issue with the rear passenger side brake but I took it to a brake shop and they said there was no problem. It sounds like metal rubbing on metal and is only noticable at high speeds.

I was tracking down a loud click-type rattle in the rear when I would hit a larger abrupt bump in the road. Ended up being the liftgate latch. I had the liftgate shut and grabbed the 2 handles that are built in and jerked them from side to side. Sure enough, it made the noise when pulled to the driver's side. Stuck some rubber tape on either side of the stationary latch, and the noise went away.
