2022 Big Bend, fog lights work, passenger cornering does not?

Hey guys and gals!

2022 Big Bend. I got the rapid turn indicator on the passenger side about 10 days ago. Looked at the blinkers, they were both fine. It seriously took me 5 minutes of scratching my head to figure out that it was the fog lamp not turning on once the indicator had been activated. Okay, no big deal, right? Ordered a new fog lamp from amazon. Original Ford part arrived 2 days ago. Installed and tested. When I click the button for the fog lights directly, the bulb comes on. When I activate the turn signal, no fog light plus rapid indicator in cab. (exterior turn signals operate as usual though.)

I do not have forscan, but I do have a stage 2 obd scanner. Any ideas?

Were your front wheels straight when you tested the fog lamp?

For the rapid turn indicator issue, carefully check all brake lamps, one of those may be not working (in your case, the passenger side brake lamp likely is non-functional given that you observed the rapid turn indicator on the passenger side)

Check your brake light on the passenger side. Had the rapid turn indicator on my '21 but the blinker was fine. Found out my brake light was out. Changed the bulb and after hitting the brake pedal once, the rapid flash was gone.

My passenger brake light went out last week at 25,500 miles. Fast Flashing happens to say “hey one of your bulbs on the this side is out”
