2021 First Edition Grille - HELP!

Hi guys. Very frustrated this morning. When I initially purchased the vehicle the dealer sold me on an “Auto Butler” interior and exterior cosmetic warranty. Upon application, the “Pre Soak” they used etched the hell out of the front grille and the two matching trim pieces on the fenders. They ordered a new bumper, installed it, called me to tell me it’s ready. Upon arrival it’s an unpainted piece they added on, the fender pieces are fine. Does anyone know if the front grille is in fact a painted piece or does that come with some other finish on it from factory? My initial thought it they ordered the correct fender pieces, which in turn look good, but they cheaper out and bought some knock off front grille that now requires paint thoughts?

I understand your frustration.
They only made 2,000 First Editions, so it's unlikely that Ford created a special grille.

$600 Replacement grills are Black with White lettering to match the Badlands.

The dealer/body shop paints it metallic Carbonized Grey, and paints the lettering Black.

That makes me feel better. Just curious as to why the two replacement fender pieces came in the correct color and the grille did not. Why do you think that is? Wouldn’t you assume those would be paint to match as well? Makes me feel like they ordered a knock off grille.

There are 3 distinct BS grilles.

The Base model grille has 2 rows of holes above the Black BRONCO lettering.

The Big Bend, Heritage, & Outer Banks share the 2nd grille style with one row of large holes above White BRONCO lettering (Heritage grille is White w/ Red lettering)

The Badlands grille has 3 rows of small holes above White BRONCO lettering (First Edition shares this Carbonized Grey grille + Black lettering) (Hertiage Limited does too, but in White w/ Red lettering)

Why would a 3rd party make a special grille that only fits 1/4 of the models? Especially since this is only in the 3rd production year?

BTW, your fender inserts look good!
I considered Tetico Side Markers (with LED lights) to upgrade mine, but they only come in flat black ... and I prefer the 2-tone M7 Carbonized Grey + Black fender inserts on the BSFE

Yeah those replacement fender trim pieces came out great, exactly how it was from factory. So I guess the issue will be trying to get the grille to match those since I can’t find a paint code anywhere nor can Ford. Any thoughts on how to ensure they match it well?

All 1995 FE are black letters.
