My Bronco has started up at least three times in the last week in the middle of the night while I am sleeping. I live alone and my key fobs are by themselves on a shelf and my iPhone is shut off. If it wasn't for my security camera recording the incident I never would have noticed. Has anyone else experienced that problem.? Gas is not cheap.

WTF?!? That’s crazy. Was it garaged? How long did it stay on? Maybe you accidentally schedule a start on the FordPass app?

The Bronco is in the garage and I checked my app and there are no scheduled start-ups. It happened one night at 4 in the morning and a couple of nights later at 1:30 AM and again the next night at I:45 AM.

According to my security camera, it ran for 15 minutes and shut off each time.

Try and deactivate remote start in sync settings and see if that stops it.

Could also try and uninstall ford pass and remove phone from sync. Then reinstall ford pass and add phone back to sync.

Pain in the behind for sure........

forget gas, if it’s starting up in an enclosed garage that’s how people die.

That's probably why I am getting over 8 hours of sleep on the nights it ran.
Besides by the way these new vehicles run it would take 3 days of idling to kill you.

15 min ain’t gonna kill nothing

it’s receiving a command to start,

this would have to be the fix

Mine is opposite….goes into deep sleep mode after a day or two….wonder if my battery is weak

At least ford was smart to add a max 15 minute idle before it auto shuts off. It appears to be an issue with something sending the remote start command. Do you have an apple watch? Ford Pass works on the watch and can send the command. You DO take your watch off when sleeping, yes ?

No, I don't have a smartwatch. I think I have a ghost.
