Good luck getting the rebate and actually saving money. These dealers jumble numbers and add bogus fees and who knows what other crooked moves they make to screw you every time. That BS rebate is just to get you in the door and the trap is set.
If you qualify go through a Ford partners plan this cuts the dealership out of the price game. I am able to use the X-Plan (using my DAV membership). It's not as good as it was a few years ago (2% over employee price, A-Plan)but still a fair deal (4% over employee price plus a small fee paid to the dealership for vehicle prep). This price is set by Ford Corp and is on the bottom of the actual invoice. Plus you receive any rebates and special finance offers (if you wish to finance through Ford). Note a dealership does not have to participate and Ford does excludes some vehicles.

It's a bit of humor. If you start looking around now--after your car is delivered (congrats, BTW)--you're going to see "better" deals all over the place. Avoid buyer's remorse; just don't look!
lol Guilty as charged.

Wow, I'm shocked to see all the vitriol against rebates ... even one that flat out stated that rebates were crap.

I guess, I'll be the contrarian in the room. I love rebates. I love paying less, but I guess that makes me the oddball.

I ordered my BS at a time when there weren't that many rebates going on. When my BS was delivered, Ford had raised its prices (~$1,500) and also offered more rebates. My dealer price protected my original order price, pulled in all the new rebates at the time of delivery, applied my PCO, and gave me the 3.9% financing. I didn't ask them to do a thing ... this is all proactive on the dealer side. Paired with my X-Plan pricing, this was a fantastic deal and great buying experience.

Your dealer will apply the best rebates possible up until the time of delivery. If the rebates were better at the time of order, you'll get those (even if they have since expired). If the rebates are better today, then out with the old and in with the new.

These aren't Ferraris. If your Ford dealership is crap, there's another one 20 miles down the road. I drove by 4 Ford dealerships on my way to get my F-350 in 2019. I drove by 3 dealerships to order my BS.
