yeah i'm totally not a fan of the fabric wheelwells…like at all. magnet for snow, ice and mud. all my other cars i would hit the plastic liners with armor all tire foam, theyd get shiney and super easy to clean off. the bronco sport ones have been a pain this winter but it is what it is.
I'm a fan of the tire foam! The Wife's 2013 CX 5 was the first auto either of us had ever owned that had the 'carpet' liners. I would always hit them with the foam, nice and heavy, at each wash or pressure rinse-off. The vehicle never experiened serious snow or mud build up! I know these liners are diff. from what Ford uses, just an observation. Also, her Sport's liners get the foaming.

GO FOAM OR GO HOME !!!!!! :cwl:

I just noticed after driving mine for a year that my Driver Side wheel well had started to rip away from the mounting points.

assuming it’s because I’m driving on the highway every day and maybe wind started to pull and rip, pushing the fabric against my tire.

found replacement for $90 from dealership, but I’m wondering if applying a few coats of epoxy to the entire piece would work by strengthening it and helping it keep its form?

dont know about extra weight though and how that would effect drive.

I am going to experiment with coating the liners in a rubberized paint, Por15 or plasti-dip..something. ANYTHING!!
Need to try not to make it to heavy.
Washing after mud takes way to long. I can't take it anymore. I'll let you know if this goes anywhere
