It’s been about a month since my Big Bend came home and I am loving it. However I’ve seen a couple of threads about missing parts? Are there items that should be on it ? If so, what are they?

Do you have a recovery screw? If you have a hitch this will be missing and no where to screw it. There’s a funnel for filling the tank when you run out in the back woods. This has been reported as missing but usually in the glove box or under the spare. There is a plastic panel under the passenger side dash. My belief is the quit adding it on the ‘22s. Please report back if you got one. The engine cover hasn’t been delivered since mid 2021 on the 1.5. The rest are things they no longer offer but you know how we get! HVAC temperature lit dials, mood lighting in the cup holders, green led on the starter button, folding rear head rests. I’m sure I’m missing some. (Pun intended)

Thanks, I’ll have to look at it tomorrow. I’ve seen posts about but never really had the time to get into depth. I’m not too concerned with the stuff they no longer offer. This is still the nicest car I’ve owned. Lol

Lol and my point was tongue in cheek if you can't tell. But I think your reply is the winner. I wouldn't worry too much. You likely don't need it if you got home without it.
Spare tire... probably check for that. Jack and lug tool slyly nested together in the spare compartment. Engine cover is a bit of a hot topic. But....
Those seem to be the biggest functional things. Worst case if you have a good dealer take it back and run a checklist with the invoice sheet. Mine still a year later asks if I need help with anything.

Yeah the only thing I would probably get if I don’t have it is the passenger dash cover, other than that I’m not gonna raise a fit, just was curious.

Don't get me wrong of it's "missing" I get why people want it...but I like you love this vehicle a year and 14K later. I'm not sweating over a plastic funnel

Yeah, well, people on the forum FB group are complaining that they didn't (also) get a letter from Ford thanking them for buying the car. No, seriously.

I’d say don’t waste your money on the dash panel. It doesn’t make a difference in noise or provide any serious protection unless you have kids kicking constantly up front. It also makes getting to the fuse box a pita. If your dealer fronts the money than why not, but I wouldn’t pony up the $40. You’ll never know it’s missing. Less so than the engine cover unless you like laying on your back in the passenger seat.

I saw this. Talk about complaining to complain. Just gotta have that piece of paper and their sticker.

Yeah, that group makes me facepalm really hard sometimes.

I was pretty bummed that this is the first car I ever bought without getting a copy of the dealer sale brochure. So I downloaded a PDF version and bought a printed one off evilBay. Didn't occur to me to post about it. Probably came from some "flipper" that cleaned out a dealership. People these days...
