for those that did a 4pin to 7 pin conversion, what gauge of wire and fuse size did you use?
I've seen sites that recommend 10 gauge and either 30 watt or 40 watt, but 10 gauge isn't even rated for 40 watts. I think I am going to do 10 and 30.
Funny,
But, dealing with people on a daily basis, I would not be surprised if someone actually tried towing that with a BS. But, I did just notice the emoji's when rereading your post so I should have realized that it was a joke.
Did you have to go to Canada to get one of those? Fantastic amenities and size for such a low weight. RVtrader doesn't even have Taylor Coach as a possible manufacturer.
1700 is actually pretty darn nice for something with a bath.
If you can pack light, you should have no issue. Pick up food and water at or near your destination.
Oh and don't take Bucko's advice and drive around with people in the camper.
People in the vehicle count towards the BS's GVWR as...
I did and they stated that they could only convert 4 pin to a 7 pin that only does brake lights and turn signals. LOL. I really wish companies hired people that knew anything about their job.
Does anyone know if dealers will convert 4 pin to 7pin?
I know nothing about brake controllers, but more interested in having the ability for the campers battery to recharge while driving.
How big of a deal is the max 225 tongue weight?
I am wanting to get an intech flyer but it states the tongue weight is 225-325
